A collection of acapella ideas, songs, and sparks written, composed, and recorded in a grain silo in rural Wisconsin in 2021.

Three years ago, I spent many hours over many months singing in an old grain silo in Southern Wisconsin as an unexpected part of a residency with Wormfarm Institute. I cleared out at least two wheelbarrows of fermented grains, ran an extension cord across a field, got a rug in there and kind of “moved in” so to speak. And without pressure of time or an end result, I created my own music for the first time. And now about three years later, maybe it’s time to share a few of em. So have a listen to some crickets, harmonies, and Midwestern rains on that old tin roof. I hope you enjoy; I know I enjoyed making them.
